On a work trip to Memphis, I managed to sneak in a photo shoot with my work wife and her family, including her mom. The light was working against us initially, but we managed to make it work and were rewarded with incredible light to end the day. Her kids are so full of personality, we had such a great time! At my recent team retreat, I volunteered to take headshots during our breaks. It was a win/win - I got to get more great experience, including with lighting, and my team got professional headshots to use in various presentations/work media. We were at the Waldorf Astoria in Las Vegas, and I lucked out with floor to ceiling windows that allowed me to just use natural light and a reflector in the morning.
