At my recent team retreat, I volunteered to take headshots during our breaks. It was a win/win - I got to get more great experience, including with lighting, and my team got professional headshots to use in various presentations/work media. We were at the Waldorf Astoria in Las Vegas, and I lucked out with floor to ceiling windows that allowed me to just use natural light and a reflector in the morning. In the afternoon, I got to use my new softbox and feel like MacGyver dealing with everything that went wrong. Luckily, my team didn't notice a thing!
