My mission is to make images that will be cherished by your family forever. I love capturing moments when people are authentically themselves. There is beauty in every little moment, the good, the "bad", and the weird.

I heard once in a leadership development workshop that it is your idiosyncrasies that make you stand out. This was music to my ears as I sure do have a lot of them! I can tell you everything about [insert celebrity here] but only about 5% of my own life. I love to dance in the cubes at work (and everywhere else). I signed up to bike across the country despite never really biking before because I thought it would be "a good story to tell one day". I crave structure/routine but am terrible at creating it for myself. I signed up for my first Ironman to prove something to everyone else (that didn't need to be proven) and the second one to prove something to myself (then promptly retired). I find equal amounts of beauty/joy in photographing both people and nature/landscape/wildlife (link to separate photo site).

I am based in Springfield, VA but have learned that means I am willing to drive all over Northern Virginia as my normal. I am looking forward to spending time with you and being able to capture your idiosyncrasies.
